Studying Italian: Same game, new strategy!

Alright! I'm back.

Ciao a tutti!

I'm playing the same language game, but I've changed my strategy.

Several months ago I stopped learning Italian because it was getting dull! It wasn't the language, it was the way I was learning. I wasn't immersing myself with other people who speak Italian, and unless you're dedicated, it's really hard to do online.

So last month (January '11) I began an Italian class at my college, Las Positas, here in Livermore, CA. It's the beginners beginner class, haha. The best thing is most of the class so far has just been a review of what I've already studied.

For this course I bought a book, Parliamo Italian 3rd edition for $40 (way cheaper than the 4th edition!). I should have bought a study book a long time ago! It may seem like common sense, but I never though about it and no one ever mentioned it.

This is the 3rd week of classes (3 a week), and I've learned so much! But thats for another post. Until next time!

A presto!

P.S. my book didn't come with the CD, but my school has it. So if you want, when I get it I can post the audio files here. Just ask =] (remember, you'll still need the book =P
